Shipping and Delivery Policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to orders placed through the official TORE website.

1. Seller information

Legal seller: Mr. Jaimin Mavjibhai Solanki, Proprietor of TORE
Trading name: TORE
Business address: 3, Shri Nand Nagar, Vejalpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380051, India
Customer-support email: support@torekart.com
Customer-support phone: +91 99985 48868

2. Delivery coverage

TORE currently delivers orders only within India.

Delivery is subject to:

  • Courier coverage;

  • PIN-code serviceability;

  • Product availability;

  • Applicable shipping restrictions; and

  • Successful order and payment verification, where required.

TORE may be unable to deliver to some remote, restricted or temporarily unserviceable locations.

3. Courier and logistics services

TORE uses third-party courier, logistics and fulfilment providers to collect, transport and deliver orders.

Shopify provides TORE’s e-commerce platform but does not ordinarily transport or physically deliver TORE packages.

The courier selected for an order may depend on:

  • Delivery PIN code;

  • Package dimensions and weight;

  • Product type;

  • Service availability;

  • Expected delivery performance; and

  • Whether the order is prepaid or COD.

TORE may change the assigned courier where reasonably necessary.

4. Order processing

Orders are ordinarily processed within 1–3 business days after confirmation.

Processing may include:

  • Payment or COD verification;

  • Address verification;

  • Product allocation;

  • Quality and packaging checks;

  • Packing;

  • Shipping-label generation; and

  • Courier handover.

Business days exclude Sundays, public holidays and other days on which TORE’s fulfilment or courier providers are not operating.

Orders placed during promotions, public holidays or unusually high demand may require additional processing time.

5. Delivery estimates

The estimated delivery period is ordinarily 3–7 business days after dispatch.

This delivery period is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date.

Delivery may be delayed by:

  • Courier serviceability;

  • Weather or natural events;

  • Public holidays;

  • Transport or operational disruption;

  • Security or regulatory restrictions;

  • Incorrect or incomplete address details;

  • Failed delivery attempts;

  • Difficulty contacting the recipient;

  • Payment or COD verification;

  • Unusually high order volume; or

  • Circumstances beyond TORE’s reasonable control.

TORE will endeavour to assist with material delays but cannot directly control a courier’s transport network.

6. Shipping charges

Orders of ₹5,000 or more qualify for free standard shipping unless otherwise stated at checkout or under a particular promotion.

For orders below ₹5,000, the applicable shipping charge will be calculated and displayed at checkout before order confirmation.

Shipping charges may depend on:

  • Package dimensions;

  • Package weight;

  • Delivery location;

  • Courier serviceability;

  • Delivery method; and

  • Other applicable logistics factors.

The shipping amount displayed at checkout will apply to the order unless an obvious technical or pricing error occurs.

7. Cash on delivery

COD is currently available only for eligible addresses and serviceable PIN codes within Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

An additional COD charge of ₹99 applies to each COD order.

COD availability may depend on:

  • Delivery PIN code;

  • Courier availability;

  • Order value;

  • Address verification;

  • Customer confirmation;

  • Previous delivery history; and

  • TORE’s fraud-prevention or operational checks.

TORE may contact the customer by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp to confirm a COD order.

TORE may restrict or withdraw COD for a particular order, address, PIN code, product or customer where reasonably necessary.

COD charges are separate from standard shipping charges and do not count towards the free-shipping threshold.

8. Address and contact information

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • A complete and accurate delivery address;

  • Correct PIN code;

  • Recognizable locality or landmark where necessary;

  • Recipient’s full name; and

  • An active telephone number.

TORE is not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by materially incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.

9. Address-change requests

A customer may request an address correction before dispatch by contacting:

Email: support@torekart.com
Phone: +91 99985 48868

The request must include the order number and registered contact details.

An address-change request is not automatically accepted. TORE will confirm whether the order can still be updated.

Once an order has been dispatched, TORE may be unable to change the delivery address. Any courier-requested redirection may be subject to serviceability, additional time and applicable courier charges.

10. Order tracking

After dispatch, available tracking information may be sent by:

  • Email;

  • SMS;

  • WhatsApp;

  • Customer-account notification; or

  • Shopify order-status page.

Tracking information is supplied by the courier provider and may take time to activate after the shipping label is created or the package is collected.

A lack of an immediate tracking scan does not necessarily mean that the package has not entered the courier network.

11. Delivery attempts

The courier may contact the recipient to confirm the location or arrange delivery.

Customers should:

  • Keep the registered phone number accessible;

  • Respond to reasonable courier communications;

  • Ensure that someone is available to receive the package; and

  • Provide legitimate delivery assistance where required.

The number and timing of delivery attempts are determined by the applicable courier’s operational procedures.

12. Receipt by another person

A shipment may be treated as delivered when handed to:

  • The named recipient;

  • A person reasonably appearing authorized to receive it at the delivery address;

  • Building reception or security;

  • An office representative;

  • A household member; or

  • Another recipient specifically authorized by the customer.

Customers should ensure that an appropriate person is available to receive the package.

This section does not remove rights relating to a package that was not actually delivered, was materially damaged in transit or contained an incorrect product.

13. Orders marked delivered but not received

If courier tracking shows an order as delivered but the customer has not received it, the customer should notify TORE within 24 hours of the delivery update.

The customer should provide:

  • Order number;

  • Registered contact details;

  • Delivery address;

  • Tracking information; and

  • A description of the issue.

TORE will raise an investigation with the courier provider.

Resolution will depend on the investigation findings and may require confirmation from the customer, courier, building security, household member or other recipient.

Customers should also check with household members, neighbours, reception or security where appropriate.

14. Damaged packages

If a package appears materially damaged, crushed, opened, resealed, leaking or tampered with at delivery, the customer should:

  • Document its condition with photographs or video;

  • Preserve the shipping label;

  • Retain the outer and inner packaging;

  • Retain the product; and

  • Contact TORE promptly.

Damaged, leaking, defective or incorrect-product concerns must ordinarily be reported within 48 hours after delivery under the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

An unboxing video is helpful where available but does not replace TORE’s obligation to review other credible evidence.

15. Delayed or undeliverable shipments

Where a shipment is materially delayed or appears undeliverable, TORE may:

  • Request an update from the courier;

  • Correct available delivery information;

  • Arrange another delivery attempt where available;

  • Request return of the package to TORE;

  • Reship the order where appropriate; or

  • Provide another resolution under applicable policy and law.

A replacement or refund will not necessarily be issued while an active courier investigation can reasonably confirm or complete delivery.

This does not limit a remedy required under applicable consumer law.

16. Failed delivery and return to origin

An order may be returned to TORE if:

  • The address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • The PIN code is unserviceable;

  • The recipient cannot be contacted;

  • Delivery repeatedly fails;

  • The recipient refuses the package;

  • COD payment is not made;

  • The package is not collected where collection is arranged; or

  • The courier determines that delivery cannot be completed.

If an order returns to TORE, any reshipment may require payment of additional shipping charges.

Any refund will be considered after TORE receives and inspects the returned shipment.

Where legally permissible, TORE may deduct only the actual and reasonable shipping or return-to-origin costs incurred because of an incorrect address, repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal of a confirmed order or inability to contact the recipient.

No arbitrary cancellation penalty will be imposed.

No such deduction will ordinarily apply where the failed delivery resulted from TORE’s error, an incorrect product supplied by TORE or a failure attributable to the courier rather than the customer.

17. Refused COD orders

Customers should place COD orders only when they genuinely intend and are available to receive them.

Repeated refusal of confirmed COD orders may result in:

  • Future COD restrictions;

  • Prepaid-payment requirements; or

  • Additional order verification.

Any restriction will be applied for legitimate operational or fraud-prevention reasons and not on a basis prohibited by law.

18. Package opening and inspection

Unless a courier expressly offers an open-delivery service, the courier may not permit the customer to open or test the product before accepting the package.

Acceptance of a sealed package does not remove the customer’s right to report:

  • Transit damage;

  • Leakage;

  • Defect;

  • Incorrect product;

  • Missing item; or

  • Another eligible concern.

Such concerns should be reported within the applicable period under the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

19. Risk and responsibility

TORE remains responsible for fulfilling its obligations as the seller.

Responsibility for the delivered package ordinarily passes to the customer when it is successfully delivered to the customer or an authorized recipient.

Nothing in this policy excludes responsibility for:

  • An undelivered package;

  • A materially damaged shipment;

  • An incorrect product;

  • A manufacturing or product defect;

  • Fraud or deliberate misconduct; or

  • Any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Order cancellations, product returns, reverse pickups, replacements and refunds are governed by TORE’s separate Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

Shipping-related provisions should be read together with that policy.

TORE will handle grievances in accordance with its Contact Information and Grievance Redressal Policy and applicable Indian law.

22. Policy updates

TORE may update this policy to reflect changes in:

  • Delivery coverage;

  • Courier providers;

  • Shipping rates;

  • Free-shipping threshold;

  • COD availability;

  • Fulfilment procedures; or

  • Applicable legal requirements.

The version displayed when an order is placed will ordinarily apply to that order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
