Terms of service

Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 August 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the official TORE website and your purchase of products from TORE.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the website or placing an order.

1. Business identity

The TORE online store is operated by:

Legal seller: Mr. Jaimin Mavjibhai Solanki, Proprietor of TORE
Trading name: TORE
Business address: 3, Shri Nand Nagar, Vejalpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380051, India
Customer-support email: support@torekart.com
Customer-support phone: +91 99985 48868

In these Terms, “TORE,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business identified above.

“You” and “your” refer to any visitor, customer or other person accessing or using the website.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing the website, creating an account, adding a product to the cart, placing an order or otherwise using the services, you agree to be bound by:

  • These Terms of Service;

  • The Privacy Policy;

  • The Cookie Policy;

  • The Shipping and Delivery Policy;

  • The Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy;

  • The Disclaimer and Product-Use Policy;

  • The Contact Information and Grievance Redressal Policy; and

  • Any product-specific instructions, warnings or conditions displayed on the website or packaging.

If you do not agree, you should not use the website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. Shopify platform

The TORE online store is hosted and powered by Shopify.

Shopify supplies the e-commerce technology that enables TORE to display and sell products. TORE remains the seller responsible for products purchased through the official TORE website unless clearly stated otherwise.

Certain website, checkout, account or payment functions may also be governed by Shopify’s applicable terms and policies.

4. Eligibility to use the website

You must be competent to enter into a legally binding contract under applicable law to place an order independently.

If you are below 18 years of age, you may use the website or place an order only through, or with the involvement and consent of, a parent or lawful guardian who agrees to these Terms.

By placing an order, you represent that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • You are legally entitled to use the selected payment method;

  • You are purchasing for a lawful purpose; and

  • You have authority to accept these Terms.

TORE may cancel or restrict an order where these requirements are not satisfied.

5. Website availability

TORE may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or part of the website where reasonably necessary for:

  • Maintenance;

  • Security;

  • Technical updates;

  • Legal or regulatory compliance;

  • Business or operational changes; or

  • Circumstances outside TORE’s reasonable control.

TORE does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Where reasonably practicable, TORE will endeavour to minimize material disruption.

6. Product information

TORE endeavours to display accurate product information, including:

  • Product name;

  • Description;

  • Ingredients;

  • Quantity;

  • Usage directions;

  • Warnings;

  • Price;

  • Images; and

  • Availability.

Website content is provided for general product information and purchasing purposes.

Customers should review the product label, ingredient list, directions, warnings and packaging received with the product before use. The information appearing on the physical product supplied will apply where it reflects a lawful or updated formulation, instruction or regulatory requirement.

If a material discrepancy exists between the website and product received, contact TORE before using the product.

7. Product images and colours

TORE endeavours to present products as accurately as reasonably possible.

However:

  • Screen settings may affect how colours appear;

  • Packaging may be updated;

  • Product photographs may include props or decorative elements not included with the purchase;

  • Minor visual differences may occur between production batches; and

  • Image scale may not represent exact physical dimensions.

A material difference from the product ordered may be reported under the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

8. Ingredients and formulation updates

TORE may update a product’s ingredients, packaging, directions or presentation where reasonably necessary for:

  • Product improvement;

  • Ingredient availability;

  • Manufacturing requirements;

  • Safety;

  • Quality;

  • Regulatory compliance; or

  • Packaging changes.

TORE will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without appropriate disclosure.

Customers with allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions or ingredient-related concerns should review the current product label before each use.

9. Cosmetic-use limitation

TORE products are cosmetic and personal-care products unless expressly stated otherwise.

They are not represented as medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease or medical condition.

Statements concerning appearance, nourishment, conditioning, shine, smoothness, scalp or hair care describe intended cosmetic use and should not be interpreted as guaranteed medical outcomes.

Further product-use conditions are provided in the Disclaimer and Product-Use Policy.

10. Individual results

Product experience and results may vary according to factors including:

  • Hair or scalp condition;

  • Method and frequency of use;

  • Quantity applied;

  • Other products used;

  • Environmental conditions;

  • Lifestyle;

  • Allergies or sensitivities; and

  • Individual biological differences.

TORE does not guarantee that every customer will obtain the same result, or that a result shown in educational, testimonial, photographic or promotional material will occur for every user.

This does not limit rights concerning a defective, unsafe, contaminated or legally non-conforming product.

11. Safe product use

Customers must:

  • Read the product label and directions before use;

  • Follow applicable warnings and storage instructions;

  • Use the product only for its intended purpose;

  • Avoid use after the stated expiry or use-before date;

  • Keep the product away from children where instructed;

  • Avoid contact with eyes or other sensitive areas where warned;

  • Stop use if significant irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs; and

  • Seek appropriate medical assistance when necessary.

A patch test should be performed where recommended on the product, website or Disclaimer and Product-Use Policy.

Product misuse, unsuitable storage or use contrary to clear instructions may affect return eligibility or TORE’s responsibility to the extent permitted by law.

12. Medical and professional advice

Website content is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Customers should obtain appropriate professional advice before use where they:

  • Have a diagnosed scalp or skin condition;

  • Have a history of serious allergies;

  • Are receiving medical treatment;

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding and have a relevant concern;

  • Have experienced a previous serious product reaction; or

  • Are uncertain whether a product is suitable for them.

In an emergency or serious reaction, customers should seek immediate medical assistance rather than wait for a response from TORE.

13. Pricing

Product prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless otherwise stated.

The final amount payable may include:

  • Product price;

  • Shipping charges;

  • COD charges;

  • Discounts;

  • Duties, taxes or statutory charges where applicable; and

  • Other charges clearly displayed before order confirmation.

TORE may change prices prospectively without prior notice. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order already accepted, except where there is an obvious pricing or technical error.

14. Pricing and listing errors

Despite reasonable care, a product may occasionally be listed with an incorrect price, description, image, discount or availability status.

Where an obvious material error is identified before dispatch, TORE may:

  • Contact the customer for instructions;

  • Correct the error;

  • Offer continuation at the correct price with the customer’s agreement; or

  • Cancel and refund the affected order.

TORE will not charge a higher corrected price without the customer’s agreement.

If TORE cancels a prepaid order because of its listing error, the applicable amount will be refunded without an arbitrary cancellation charge.

15. Product availability

All orders are subject to product availability.

Adding a product to the cart or beginning checkout does not reserve the product.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, TORE may:

  • Contact the customer;

  • Offer an agreed alternative;

  • Remove the unavailable item and adjust the order with the customer’s agreement; or

  • Cancel and refund the affected item or order.

TORE will not impose store credit instead of a monetary refund where the customer is legally entitled to a refund.

16. Order submission and acceptance

The website’s product display is an invitation for customers to submit an order.

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product under these Terms.

An automatic acknowledgement, payment authorization or order-number notification confirms receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.

TORE may verify:

  • Product availability;

  • Price;

  • Payment;

  • Delivery serviceability;

  • Customer information;

  • COD eligibility;

  • Promotion eligibility; and

  • Fraud or security indicators.

An order is ordinarily accepted when TORE confirms it for fulfilment or dispatches it, subject to applicable law.

17. Electronic communications and records

You agree that orders, confirmations, invoices, notices, policies and other transaction-related communications may be provided electronically through:

  • Website pages;

  • Email;

  • SMS;

  • WhatsApp;

  • Customer-account notifications; or

  • Shopify’s order-status functions.

Electronic records and communications will not be treated as invalid merely because they are electronic.

You are responsible for supplying accurate contact information and maintaining access to the email address or telephone number provided with the order.

18. Right to refuse or cancel an order

TORE may refuse, restrict or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including:

  • Product unavailability;

  • An obvious pricing or listing error;

  • Failed, reversed or unauthorized payment;

  • Incomplete or inaccurate customer information;

  • An unserviceable or restricted delivery address;

  • Suspected fraud;

  • Unusual or abusive purchasing activity;

  • Misuse of COD, discounts or promotions;

  • A quantity suggesting unauthorized resale;

  • Legal or regulatory restrictions; or

  • Circumstances outside TORE’s reasonable control.

Where TORE cancels a prepaid order, TORE will initiate an applicable refund to the original payment method or another legally appropriate method.

TORE will not impose an arbitrary cancellation charge where it cancels an order.

19. Quantity limits and resale

Unless TORE agrees otherwise in writing, products offered through the retail website are intended for personal or household use.

TORE may limit quantities per:

  • Customer;

  • Account;

  • Household;

  • Address;

  • Payment method;

  • Product; or

  • Promotion.

TORE may review or cancel an order reasonably suspected to involve unauthorized commercial resale, diversion or misuse.

Customers interested in wholesale, distribution or authorized resale should contact TORE separately.

20. Payments

Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout and may include methods supported by Shopify, banks, payment gateways, UPI providers or other authorized payment providers.

You authorize the applicable provider to process the amount shown at checkout.

A payment may be declined, delayed, reversed or held for verification by:

  • The issuing bank;

  • Payment gateway;

  • UPI provider;

  • Card network;

  • Fraud-prevention provider; or

  • Another payment intermediary.

TORE is not responsible for a payment refusal caused solely by a third-party payment provider, but will reasonably assist with transaction information available to TORE.

You must not provide a UPI PIN, OTP, CVV or internet-banking password to TORE for order processing or refunds.

21. Cash on delivery

COD is available only for eligible delivery addresses and serviceable PIN codes within Ahmedabad, Gujarat, subject to the Shipping and Delivery Policy.

An additional COD charge of ₹99 applies to each COD order.

TORE may request confirmation of a COD order and may restrict COD for legitimate operational, serviceability or fraud-prevention reasons.

Repeated refusal of confirmed COD orders may result in additional verification, prepaid-payment requirements or future COD restrictions.

22. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes are subject to their displayed terms, which may include:

  • Start and end dates;

  • Minimum purchase amount;

  • Eligible products;

  • Customer eligibility;

  • Usage limits;

  • Geographic limitations; and

  • Exclusions from other promotions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • A discount cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • Only one discount may apply to an order;

  • A code may not apply retrospectively;

  • A code may be withdrawn where it is technically defective or unlawfully used; and

  • Returns may cause a promotional or bundled price to be recalculated.

TORE may reject use of a promotion involving fraud, unauthorized duplication or manipulation, while preserving remedies for genuine customers affected by TORE’s error.

23. Shipping and delivery

TORE currently delivers only within India.

Delivery coverage, processing times, delivery estimates, tracking, shipping charges, COD availability, failed delivery and return-to-origin procedures are governed by the Shipping and Delivery Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless TORE expressly confirms a guaranteed service.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery and contact information.

24. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Order cancellations, return eligibility, damaged or incorrect products, reverse pickup, inspection, replacements, refund methods and refund timelines are governed by the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in that policy or these Terms removes a mandatory remedy concerning defective, unsafe, incorrect or legally non-conforming goods.

25. Customer accounts

Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information;

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials;

  • Restricting unauthorized access to your device;

  • Reviewing account activity; and

  • Informing TORE promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

You must not impersonate another person or create an account using information you are not authorized to use.

TORE may suspend or restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, abuse or a material breach of these Terms.

26. Customer reviews and submissions

Where the website allows reviews, feedback, photographs, videos, comments or other submissions, you must ensure that your submission:

  • Reflects your genuine experience or lawful opinion;

  • Is not false, misleading or deceptive;

  • Does not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;

  • Does not disclose another person’s confidential information;

  • Is not threatening, abusive, discriminatory or obscene;

  • Does not contain malicious code, spam or unauthorized advertising; and

  • Complies with applicable law.

TORE may moderate or remove content that reasonably appears to violate these requirements.

TORE will not remove a genuine negative review merely because it is unfavourable. Moderation may occur for unlawful content, irrelevant material, abuse, fraud, personal information or another legitimate reason.

27. Permission to use submissions

When you voluntarily submit content for publication on the TORE website, you grant TORE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, format and communicate that content for operating and promoting the website and products.

This licence does not transfer ownership of your content.

TORE will obtain appropriate permission before using an identifiable customer photograph, video or testimonial in a separate advertising campaign beyond the context in which it was submitted.

You may contact TORE to request review or removal of your submission, subject to applicable law and reasonable technical or record-retention requirements.

28. Intellectual-property rights

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its contents—including:

  • TORE names and branding;

  • Logos;

  • Product names;

  • Product photographs;

  • Graphics;

  • Packaging designs;

  • Text;

  • Videos;

  • Page layouts;

  • Software elements; and

  • Other original material—

are owned by, licensed to or lawfully used by TORE and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

No ownership right is transferred merely because you access the website or purchase a product.

29. Permitted use

TORE grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access and use the website for lawful personal shopping and informational purposes.

You may not, without applicable authorization:

  • Reproduce substantial website content for commercial use;

  • Use TORE’s trademarks in a misleading manner;

  • Copy product photographs or descriptions for unauthorized resale;

  • Frame, mirror or republish the website;

  • Create a false association with TORE;

  • Remove ownership notices; or

  • Exploit website content in a way that infringes TORE’s or another person’s rights.

This section does not prevent lawful use permitted by applicable law.

30. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the website for an unlawful or fraudulent purpose;

  • Attempt unauthorized access to an account, server or system;

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code or harmful material;

  • Interfere with website security or operation;

  • Scrape or harvest personal information unlawfully;

  • Submit false orders, refund claims or chargebacks;

  • Manipulate reviews, discounts or promotions;

  • Impersonate TORE or another person;

  • Infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights;

  • Harass customers, staff or service providers; or

  • Use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts the website.

TORE may take proportionate action, including access restriction, order cancellation, evidence preservation or reporting unlawful conduct to a competent authority.

31. Third-party tools and services

The website may use or provide access to third-party tools and services, including:

  • Shopify;

  • Payment providers;

  • Courier and logistics providers;

  • Analytics services;

  • Marketing services;

  • Review tools;

  • Communication tools; and

  • Social-media services.

Such services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

TORE is responsible for selecting and using service providers reasonably appropriate for its operations, but does not control every independent action, system or policy of a third-party provider.

Nothing in this section removes TORE’s obligations as the seller.

32. Third-party links

The website may contain links to external websites or services.

A link does not necessarily constitute TORE’s endorsement of all content, products or practices of the external service.

TORE is not responsible for an external website’s independent content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Customers should review the applicable third-party terms before entering a transaction or providing information.

33. Website information and errors

TORE endeavours to keep website information accurate and current but does not warrant that all non-contractual website content will always be complete, current or error-free.

TORE may correct typographical, technical or administrative errors.

A correction will not be used to deprive a customer of a right concerning an already accepted order, except where permitted by law or necessary to address an obvious error.

34. Security

TORE uses reasonable measures intended to protect the website and customer information.

However, no internet service or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should:

  • Use secure account credentials;

  • Avoid sharing verification codes;

  • Use updated device software;

  • Confirm that communications genuinely originate from TORE; and

  • Report suspected fraud or unauthorized account activity promptly.

Privacy and security practices are further described in the Privacy Policy.

35. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the website and its non-contractual content are provided on an “as available” basis.

TORE does not guarantee that:

  • The website will always be uninterrupted;

  • Every technical error will be corrected immediately;

  • Every customer will obtain the same cosmetic result;

  • Third-party services will always remain available; or

  • General educational content will be suitable for every individual circumstance.

This section does not exclude:

  • Express product promises;

  • Statutory warranties;

  • Responsibility for defective or unsafe products;

  • Responsibility for misleading information; or

  • Any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

36. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TORE will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from:

  • Misuse of the website;

  • Use of a product contrary to clear instructions;

  • Unauthorized alteration of a product;

  • Improper storage after delivery;

  • Inaccurate information supplied by the customer;

  • Unauthorized access caused by the customer’s failure to protect account credentials; or

  • A third-party disruption outside TORE’s reasonable control.

Where TORE is legally responsible for a proven loss, any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by law and having regard to the nature of the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility for:

  • Fraud or deliberate misconduct;

  • Personal injury caused by legally actionable conduct;

  • A defective, contaminated or unsafe product;

  • An undelivered or materially incorrect order;

  • Breach of an express warranty;

  • Misleading or unfair trade practices; or

  • Any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

37. Indemnity for unlawful misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you may be responsible for reasonable losses, claims or expenses directly resulting from your:

  • Fraudulent use of the website;

  • Deliberate violation of another person’s rights;

  • Unauthorized commercial exploitation of TORE content;

  • Introduction of malicious software; or

  • Material breach of these Terms.

This provision will not be applied to suppress a genuine consumer complaint, lawful review, return request, chargeback or exercise of a statutory right.

38. Events beyond reasonable control

TORE will not be treated as having breached these Terms solely because performance is prevented or materially delayed by an event beyond its reasonable control, such as:

  • Natural disaster;

  • Severe weather;

  • Epidemic or public-health restriction;

  • War, civil disturbance or terrorism;

  • Government or regulatory action;

  • Transport-network disruption;

  • Utility or telecommunications failure;

  • Cyberattack despite reasonable safeguards;

  • Labour or supply disruption; or

  • Failure of an essential third-party service.

TORE will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the event and provide an appropriate remedy where required by applicable law.

39. Complaints and grievance redressal

Customers are encouraged to contact TORE first so that the concern can be investigated and resolved.

Please include the order number, registered contact details and a clear description of the concern.

Grievances will be handled under TORE’s Contact Information and Grievance Redressal Policy and applicable Indian law.

40. Consumer remedies

Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from approaching an appropriate consumer commission, regulatory authority, court, payment provider or other lawful dispute-resolution forum.

Nothing requires a customer to surrender a mandatory consumer right as a condition of using the website or purchasing a product.

41. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and transactions through the TORE website are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdictional rights, courts and competent forums in Ahmedabad, Gujarat may have jurisdiction over disputes connected with TORE’s business or these Terms.

This provision does not prevent a consumer from approaching another forum where that right is available under applicable law.

42. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

43. No waiver

If TORE does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not permanently waive the provision or TORE’s right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only for the particular matter for which it is clearly given.

44. Assignment and business succession

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under an order to another person where doing so would materially affect fulfilment, payment, fraud prevention or legal compliance without TORE’s agreement.

TORE may transfer relevant rights and obligations as part of a lawful business reorganization, sale, succession or transfer, provided that mandatory customer rights are preserved.

45. Entire agreement

These Terms, the policies incorporated into them, product-specific information and the confirmed order details form the agreement governing the relevant website transaction.

If a product-specific term or confirmed order detail conflicts with a general provision, the more specific term will ordinarily apply to that matter, subject to applicable law.

46. Changes to these Terms

TORE may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • Business operations;

  • Website functionality;

  • Shopify features;

  • Products;

  • Payment or delivery services;

  • Security requirements; or

  • Applicable law.

The revised Terms will be published with an updated “Last updated” date.

The version displayed when an order is placed will ordinarily govern that order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

A material change will not ordinarily be applied retrospectively to deprive a customer of an existing right.
